Pythia

Pythia is an energetic expansion of the small painted image on my mixed media piece called "She Shed Her Skin and Moved On". There are themes of devotion, the body as oracle, and snake— which represents both kundalini energy and the ability to shed that which no longer serves— woven throughout my art and in this piece.

She is the creative freedom that comes after the release of an old and too tight skin and the joy of trusting your own gnosis, explored through intuitive color play. She is the vibrant expression of embodied oracular divination.
